Dr. (h.c.) Benny Yeo Receives the Most Promising Asia Teochew Entrepreneur Award 2025

29th March 2025, Singapore – At the grand ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore, under the distinguished presence of Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr. Tan See Leng, Dr. (h.c.) Benny Yeo was conferred the Most Promising Asia Teochew Entrepreneur Award 2025 — a powerful recognition of his decades-long dedication to regional economic development, cross-border innovation, and Teochew cultural pride.
Hosted by Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan, the Asia Teochew Entrepreneur Awards is one of the most respected business honours in the Teochew community, celebrating individuals who exemplify perseverance, integrity, and entrepreneurial excellence. Notable guests included Ms. Yeo Wan Ling, Member of Parliament, and Mr. Desmond Tan, Senior Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office.
Dr. Yeo, Founder of Communication 21 Media Group, has long been acknowledged as a visionary in bridging ASEAN and China’s industrial and commercial sectors. His flagship initiatives, the ASEAN-Connect Initiative (东盟互联互通倡议) and the China-To-ASEAN Initiative (中国至东盟倡议), are endorsed by the Global Confederation of Belt and Road Economic Cooperation (一带一路全球经济合作联盟总会), and actively supported by a wide network of regional government agencies, business associations, and federations.
