Another Meaningful Day in Shandong Zhucheng

This morning, I had the privilege of meeting with the Director-General of the Commerce Bureau of Shandong Zhucheng (山东诸城市商务局局长) together with senior government officials to discuss strengthening economic and commercial cooperation between Shandong Zhucheng and the ASEAN region.

I am deeply grateful for the strong support and confidence shown by the Commerce Bureau of Shandong Zhucheng towards our China-To-ASEAN Initiative (中国至东盟倡议). Their commitment to supporting local enterprises in expanding into ASEAN reflects a shared vision of deeper regional cooperation and mutually beneficial growth.

The Commerce Bureau also invited more than 20 leading entrepreneurs and industry leaders from Shandong Zhucheng to participate in the session. During my presentation, I shared the immense opportunities within ASEAN and how the China-To-ASEAN Initiative provides a practical platform to help Chinese enterprises internationalise, establish strategic partnerships, and expand into one of the world's fastest-growing regions.

I was greatly encouraged by the overwhelming response. Many participating companies expressed their keen interest in working closely with us to explore business matching, market expansion, investment opportunities, and long-term collaboration throughout ASEAN.

This is precisely why I founded the China-To-ASEAN Initiative—to build trusted bridges between China and ASEAN, transforming friendships into partnerships and partnerships into sustainable economic growth.

Today's meeting marks another significant milestone. I look forward to welcoming more outstanding enterprises from Shandong Zhucheng into the ASEAN market and creating many successful China–ASEAN collaborations in the years ahead.
