Strengthening ASEAN Industrial Unity: Productive Meeting with Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce

The meeting focused on advancing the unity of industries across ASEAN, with key discussions on strengthening supply chains, enabling cross-border partnerships, and accelerating regional trade.

Both parties highlighted the strategic role of the ASEAN-Connect Initiative (东盟互联互通倡议) and the China-To-ASEAN Initiative（中国至东盟倡议）, spearheaded by Communication 21 Media Group, as vital platforms to drive industrial integration and digital transformation in the region.

Importantly, this meeting also marks the start of the onboarding process for Industry Connect: Thailand, a digital transformation programme under the ASEAN-Connect Initiative. As part of this rollout, Communication 21 Media Group is providing free onboarding to all industrial and commercial organizations — not just in Thailand, but across every ASEAN country. This will enable businesses to easily upload their profiles, catalogs, and capabilities, ensuring seamless connectivity and greater visibility across ASEAN and China.

Dr. Yeo emphasized the importance of closer collaboration with Thai counterparts, noting that these efforts will deliver tangible outcomes for manufacturers, technology providers, and growth-stage enterprises across ASEAN.
