Communication 21 Media Group Returns as Official Media Partner at APHM 2025 – Relaunches Medical Focus Under ASEAN-Connect Initiative

Kuala Lumpur, 11 June 2025 — Communication 21 Media Group, through its flagship ASEAN-Connect Initiative, proudly served as the official media partner of the 31st APHM International Healthcare Conference & Exhibition 2025, held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 9–11 June 2025.

As part of this role, the C21TV Media Production Team, led by Mr Henry Berbar and Ms Grace Lum, conducted extensive coverage of the three-day event, interviewing renowned professionals and industry leaders—including an exclusive feature with Dr Kuljit Singh, President of the Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia (APHM).

This year’s theme, “Managing Healthcare Costs and the Promise of Healthcare Financing,” highlighted the urgent need for sustainable healthcare models and collaborative innovation across Southeast Asia.
Communication 21 Media Group, known for its legacy as the publisher of the Medical Supplies Annual Directory (2009–2015), officially announced the relaunch of its healthcare-focused initiatives under Industry Connect: Malaysia, a component of the broader ASEAN-Connect Initiative.

“The medical and healthcare industry has always been central to nation-building and economic resilience,” said Dr (h.c.) Benny Yeo, Founder of Communication 21 Media Group and ASEAN-Connect Initiative.
“Our return to this vital sector through Industry Connect: Malaysia signifies a renewed commitment to empowering hospitals, suppliers, and technology players with better visibility, digital tools, and regional connectivity. Healthcare is no longer just a national agenda — it’s a cross-border priority. We’re here to accelerate that transformation.”
The ASEAN-Connect Initiative aims to enhance digital transformation, regional collaboration, and AI-powered business matchmaking across seven key industries, with healthcare and medical technology now once again taking center stage.
